Sunny to kick off musical debut in ‘Catch Me If You Can’!

2012 has barely started but most of the girls in Girls’ Generation are already showcasing and developing their solo activities, with variety shows, dramas and musicals. The next member to challenge musicals after Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany, is none other than the cute and lovable Sunny!
Sunny is slated for the Korean version of the Broadway musical ‘Catch Me If You Can’, alongside SHINee’s Key, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and CSJH’s Dana. Sunny will be one of the actresses playing the character of Brenda Strong, along with Dana and others while Key, Kyuhyun and other actors will play the role of Frank Abagnale, Jr.
The musical is an adaption of the hit movie in 2002 starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which was based on the autobiography of Frank Abagnale, Jr, a con artist, who was constantly chased by FBI agent Carl Hanratty. He falls in love with a nurse, Brenda Strong, when he lied and pretended to be a doctor but eventually, he admits the truth to her.
Sunny’s character, Brenda, will appear in the second half of the musical when Frank goes to the hospital and pretended to be a doctor. The first song in the second half of the musical is ‘Doctor’s Orders’ and Frank will fall in love with Brenda shortly after; interesting and fun scenes between the two are expected in the act.
Brenda will be involved in the following songs of the musical; ‘Doctor’s Orders’, ‘Seven Wonders’ featuring Frank and Brenda, ‘(Our) Family Tree’ featuring Carol, Roger, Brenda, Frank and Strong Family Singers, and finally ‘Fly, Fly Away’ will be Sunny’s solo song.

The touching words and message from Taeyeon’s loving brother

A message left by Taeyeon’s brother, Kim JiWoong, is a hot issue right now.

On January 28th, a post titled “Taeyeon’s sweet brother” has been posted on community sites and has attracted a lot of attention.
The netizen, who posted on the site, came across some information about Taeyeon’s brother while searching about various things about Taeyeon. Also, his compilation of Taeyeon’s brother’s photos has attracted many other netizens’ attention.

In the photos posted, Taeyeon’s brother showed fashion sense and posed as well as any celebrity. He also seemed very caring toward Taeyeon in some photos.
Furthermore, there was a message known to be sent from him to Taeyeon. It started as such, “There is one thing that people are sadly misunderstanding.”
He continued, “I have nothing that I wish from you. Since I was a middle school student, you have already been an ahjumma. So, your thoughts were already like an elder sister and you made good decisions.”
He also showed his belief and trust in Taeyeon by stating, ” Even if you are far away from us, your constantly proper mindset has always made me bow to you.”
He also added words like, “My faith in you is 200%” and “Your family is always watching your back” to show his love towards his sister.
On the other hand, Taeyeon and the rest of Girls’ Generation has departed from Korea for New York City today to attend several famous television talkshow as part of the promotions for their US release.

J.Estina releases new group photo for Spring 2012

J.Estina has been gathering a lot of attention as they released the first group photo of Girls’ Generation for the spring collection of 2012.

In this photoshoot for the advertisement, the members of Girls’ Generation portrayed an elegant and luxurious modern princess-like look with peach as the ‘in-trend color’ for the 2012 Spring Season. The girls were fitted with lovely one-piece dresses, as well as a blouse and shorts of a soft color of ivory.
The special edition bags that were used and advertised in the 2012 Spring Season by Girls’ Generation will also soon be released.
The bags advertised by Girls’ Generation are from the J.Estina signature line, ‘Angelica Line’. The birth of the products such as the sequined bags that reflect light depending on the direction of the sequins itself were inspired by the glitter and sparkle that came from the J.Estina trademark, the tiara.
The ‘Angelica mini shoulder bag’ was already shown through the special Girls’ Generation Christmas advertisement and also gained attention as Taeyeon was seen wearing it at the airport. The J.Estina backpacks were also worn by a lot of celebrities, such as Nichkhun, Park HanByul and Seo HyoLim.
The ‘Angelica easy bag’ worn by Sooyoung and Yoona gained a lot of attention as a member from the same group, Seohyun, wore it as an ‘Airport Fashion’ accessory.
Available in three different colors: gold, gray and multi, customers will be able to make their purchases from leading J.Estina stores starting from February.
