Michelle Rodriguez Confirmed For Lost Return

Lost sources have confirmed that Fast And Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez is set to return for the show's sixth and final season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

She'll reprise the role of tailie Ana-Lucia, who was killed off in season two but made a brief return in one of Hurley's hallucinations in season five.

There's no word yet on where, when or how Michelle's comeback will happen, but fans are already speculating that it'll take place off the Island in one of the series' flash-sideways scenes.

Other cast members who are set to appear in season six include Maggie Grace as Shannon, Harold Perrineau as Michael, Cynthia Watros as Libby, Rebecca Mader as Charlotte, Ian Somerhalder as Boone and Dominic Monaghan as Charlie.

True Blood: The Books v The TV Series

Now, us being the Geeky Girls, we couldn't just watch the True Blood television series, oh no, we had to go and read the books too, just to see if we could get ahead and reveal any plot lines further down the line! (And for our own enjoyment too of course!)

It turns out that there are quite a few differences in the books compared to the series.

For starters, the second book starts with the same plot line as the series, that 'someone' was killed and left for dead in Andy Bellefleur's car, however the book states that it was in fact Lafayette - so you can imagine our surprise when the second season started. Also Tara doesn't feature in the books much at all, not to the extent that she does in the series. She is only mentioned at the end of the second book for the first time and she is certainly not Sookie's best friend.

Another point that we must make is that we are not too keen on Bill in the book! He seems rather more aloof and definately not as romantic - in fact we feel a little sorry for Sookie. Eric, on the other hand, is charming, witty and comes across as someone we would like Sookie to hook up with.

As the TV series progresses we will answer any questions you may have about the books vs. the series and we are very interested to know if anyone else has read the Charlaine Harris book series and noticed anything else that is better, worse or just different.

Big Fringe Reveal To "Rock The Boat"

Fringe actress Anna Torv has revealed that the latest Fringe twist will define the rest of the season.

In episode 15, Jacksonville, Olivia is set to discover that Peter (Joshua Jackson) is from the alternate universe.

Could the secret end their relationship before it has even begun?

"It'll definitely rock the boat," Anna revealed in a recent interview with Digital Spy. "Walter obviously doesn't want Peter to know, otherwise he'd have told him earlier.

"I think that Jacksonville is the episode that pushes us forward with a huge amount of momentum towards the end of the season."

She added: "It all gets mixed up and then you find out what the drive is behind all of this. It's the big spanner in the works! The secret definitely has a huge impact on the lives of everyone involved."

Anna also commented on the will-they-won't-they relationship between Olivia and Peter, claiming that she'd like it to remain "undefined".

"I think that when you watch them all the time, you think about what would happen," she said. "But they'd get together and stay together, or they'd get together and break up. I like that it's undefined. You're not quite sure what it is and I don't think either of them are either."

Fringe returns to Sky1 and Sky1 HD on Tue 9 Mar at 10pm.

Cameron Sued Over Avatar

Avatar director James Cameron may be facing a law suit, according to reports.

A Chinese writer named Zhou Shaomou claims that the blockbuster movie was based on his 1997 sci fi novel, Tale Of The Blue Crows.

Zhou revealed that he is seeking £97million for breach of copywright.

"80% of the plot and key elements of Avatar are similar to Tale Of The Blue Crows," the writer told the China Daily. "It tells the story of an epic journey taken by six astronauts to a distant planet which is home to a race of blue-skinned beings.

"I wrote in my novel that their space journey took them six years but in Cameron's movie the journey takes them five years, nine months and 22 days. I was shocked when I first saw that. It is too close."

Zhou, who signed a contract to have his novel published online, also told Sky News that he has struggled to file a lawsuit in China.

"I realise that no-one knows me in China but I insist on fighting for my copyright," he said. "Over ten million people have read my book over the internet.

"Nobody was supportive and many asked why someone as famous as Cameron would copy an obscure work from a little-known author. I really wanted to argue back, 'Why not?'"

James Cameron faced allegations of plagiarism previously, when he was accused by sci-fi writer Harland Ellison over the film Terminator. The director negotiated and settled out of court.

Wenger Compares Doctor Who To Twilight And Harry Potter

Doctor Who executive producer Piers Wenger has made some pretty big claims concerning the new series of the Beeb's flagship sci fi show.

In an interview with Doctor Who Magazine, Piers, who is working alongside fellow execs Steven Moffat and Beth Willis for series five, revealed that the revamped show has a "fairy-tale feel".

"We just wanted to make the show look as up-to-date as it possibly could," he explained. "One of the qualities in Steven's writing, and one of Steven's natural tendencies as a writer, is to write these strange, dark, glittering fairy tales.

"We wanted to give the look of the series a slightly more storybook, fairy-tale feel.

"It wasn't about suddenly becoming Tim Burton, but it was finding a pinch of that, a pinch of Twilight, a pinch of Harry Potter - but it's still absolutely, slap-bang, mainstream Doctor Who.

"It's a bigger, more brilliant challenge," he added. "Just the stories, by nature, have to be slightly baffling, but have a really rigorous logic behind why they're baffling - and they should be baffling in a good way."

Hmm... are we the only ones beginning to worry that Who might have lost its way?

New Angel Comic Announced

Fans of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer season eight comic book series are going to love this. The Geeky Girls hear that graphic novel publishers IDW Publishing are set to explore the past of everyone's favourite tortured hero, Angel.

The three-issue miniseries, Angel: Barbary Coast, will be set at the beginning of the 20th century and will see the vampire with a soul take desperate measures to rid himself of his gypsy curse.

"Barbary Coast is set in 1906, so Angel's really only been in America a short time," revealed writer David Tischman.

"He's still dealing with this whole 'soul' thing. He's not happy about it, and he'd do anything to get rid of it. If there's one thing I know, it's guilt - not a pleasant thing.

"So this is not Angel the good guy, or even Angel the tortured vampire - this is a pissed-off Angel who's doing what he needs to do to get what he needs. That's what attracted me to this story, and he's been fun to write because of that."

The first issue of the series is set to be released in April.
