The Last Airbender, Confirmed For 3D

The Last Airbender is coming to UK screens in August 2010. And now it's been confirmed to be in 3D glory.

Based on the animated TV series on Nickolodeon, here's a brief synopsis of the movie: A world where the elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air) can be controlled only by The Avatar, he is the master of all four elements. One day The Avatar vanishes and a war rages. The only hope to stop the war is a young boy named Aang (Noah Ringer)... the last airbender.

According to Digital Spy Last Airbender producer, Frank Marshall, recently wrote on his Twitter Account about using the latest 3D technology "Looking at 3D test... Looking at 3D for various projects, I think it's here to stay, but not right for all movies... So far, feels like it's better to shoot in 3D rather than convert."

Expect big effects and masses of CGI. And now all in 3D!
